Hey, I’m Ginka — a designer with a background in ethnology, a deep curiosity for how things work (and don’t), and a strong belief that design should serve people and the planet.
I come from the humanities, which means I naturally ask “why” before jumping into the “how.” That lens helps me connect the dots across systems, culture, and behavior — especially when working on topics like sustainability, circular economy, or ethical tech. I’m not interested in quick fixes; I’m interested in thoughtful, long-term solutions that actually make sense.
This site is both my portfolio and my thinking space. Here, I share projects, explore ideas, and write about the intersection of design, systems, and sustainability — sometimes structured, sometimes messy, always honest.
If you’re working on something meaningful (or trying to figure out where to start), I’d love to hear from you.
Thanks for visiting!
